I have really enjoyed thinking about this February 2017 Challenge: What I Love About My Job and I'd like to thank BLIZ for the opportunity.
When I first wake up in the morning, the first thing that comes to my mind is real estate. The first thing I do is check my emails to make sure that I am on top of any developing crisis or challenges.
The question is why do I love real estate. I've been investing in real estate since I was 19 years old and I've always found it to be a sound investment. This is why I can work with my clients on a one to one basis. I have 18 years of licensed real estate experience and I learn something new every day with the help of my clients. Experience has shown me that everyone has a unique situation, there is no cookie-cutter transactions.
Stepping into the shoes of my clients and understanding what they are feeling at any particular time is kind of an out of body experience. I enjoy working with people and real estate gives me that opportunity on a daily basis.
I get excited when I find a house, that I think my clients will love and that is a special feeling. To see the look on the client's face, when they appreciate what we have found. This is worth the price of admission to me and often the long hours.
My clients often remark how well I listen to their every wish and try to transform it into a reality. It's not about me, it's about them.
I do what I do because I like it and sometimes love it. The day it becomes a job rather than a passion, I will probably find another profession.
