Mortgage rates continued to move slightly lower last week as mortgage bonds were able to rally off support and break above strong overhead resistance from previous week. Mortgage Interest Rates have moved lower over the last couple weeks and finally were able to move above the 50 day moving average and treasures have move below their 50 moving average. These are both very good technical signals that point to a continued rally in the bond market.
In housing news both buidling permints and housing starts increased from May to June 2017 which shows that new home builders are doing well.
