Some things are just beyond what words can convey. The bear in my neighbors yard is like that. My neighbors opposite my home have acres and acres of wooded land that is largely unkempt. They feed wild turkeys and I suspect the bears know it is a good place to hang. Late this afternoon I drove slowly up my street and saw him lounging but the cell was no good and I didn't have my camera. I stopped the car and just watched the bear for minutes and he seemed content to watch me too.
By the time I parked in my garage and got the camera he was gone. Later in the early evening, I drove slowly up the street and saw him again but the distance was too great to get a picture. I will continue to creep in the car and hopefully catch the bear for a good and full photo. I feel like we have a symbiotic relationship but it is a big bear so I will be cautious too.
