So while the solar eclipse held everyone's attention today as it hid behind the moon for a few seconds, I was a little like...."meh", so this hasn't happened for a while is it really that big of a deal? I remember looking through a pin hole in a box back when I was like 8 or 9 and being underwhelmed then....fast forward a few dozen years and my interest hasn't increased.
So today, the Sun held no special interest for me. Rewind a few weeks when the Lake Chelan Valley was hazy with smoke from the numerous fires in British Columbia and this is the shot that greeted me leaving an appointment in Manson.
Don't wake me from my rocker when the next Eclipse is scheduled.
This is my kind of "Sunsational" event.
