Reminder - The Hood River Bridge will be closed for fours hours, from 11pm to 3am the evening of October 24, 2017. The 4-hour complete closure will minimize daytime traffic impacts. The purpose of the late-night closure is for strain gage testing of the lift span.
Again, travelers should plan for a 4-hour closure of the entire bridge on Oct 24th from 11pm to 3am. The Port of Hood River is encouraging motorists to use the bridge crossing in The Dalles or Cascade Locks as alternative crossings during this time.
Emergency response vehicles will be able to use the bridge during the 4-hour closures, if necessary.
