MYR Airport - Myrtle Beach Home buyers are offered more flights at the Myrtle Beach International Airport. 2018 will show another expansion at the Myrtle Beach Airport with the TSA Checkpoint expanding the size of the Checkpoint that travelers will pass through with additional TSA Agents. Presently Myrtle Beach Airport has terminals A an B. MYR is trying to make plans to add an additional Terminal making the Airport Terminals A, B and C. TSA is adding an additional 20+ employees to handle the extra flights that have been added to the new schedule. A new parking area is will be added to accommodate the additional flights and passengers as well.
Myrtle Beach Airport is hosting the Blue Angels Air Show on April 28th and 29th. This Air show will be flying over MYR Airport and will be available for spectators from the Market Common side of the runway. The Blue Angels will not be having the Air Show over the Beaches for safety reasons so the stunt events will be limited over the controlled area of the Airport runway.
