Horizons at Mount Arlington is a 55 and over community in Morris County, NJ. It was built in 2004 and 2005.
The complex consists of midrise buildings with elevators and secure entry through the use of intercoms. The condos are reached by elevators and offer one level living.
The landscaping is lush.
The units have high ceilings, open floor plans and balconies. Some of the condos have fabulous seasonal lake views and others have great wooded views. Sit on your balconies and relax and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, while drinking a cup of coffee or a glass of lemonade!
There are laundry facilities in each condominium. The master bath offers a double vanity, a soaking tub and a shower stall. This is great because many seniors find it easier to use a walk-in shower. Still, if you like to bathe in a tub, you still can!
Parking is in an underground garage and allows owners to park indoors and avoid inclement and cold or extremely hot weather. There are also assigned outdoor parking spots and common outdoor parking for owners and guests.
There is a storage bin in the garage for each owner.
Amenities include a clubhouse with a kitchen, a card/game room, billiards, a gym, a craft room, a library, bocce, an outdoor pool, tennis courts and many activities.
As a pet lover, I am glad to say that pets are allowed. There are some restrictions.
There are five condos on the market at this time. They are listed at between $299,900 and $345,000 and they are all 2 bedroom, 2 bath units with a den.
One condo that is under contract is listed at $325,000, is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and a den unit and is 1862 square feet.
