WHALES IN DYES INLET, NEAR SILVERDALE WA.

Whales in Puget Sound are becoming rather common sight in recent years. Here, in a body of Puget Sound waters called Dyes Inlet, adjacent to Silverdale this view of a Pod of whales took place last summer. Whether this has anything to do with global warming or not, it appears we locals can now view them from home.A Pod of whales in Purget Sound waters, off Silverdale have begun appearing in recent years. It appears we will no longer have to trek to Hawaii or various bodies of the Pacific to see these wonderful creatures in the future. Now we can view them from our homes.

Thank you Lisa. However I cannot tell a lie - it was my friend who captured the whales. But, this is truly what it looks like on the beach just down the hill from our home.
