Hi William Feela, Home prices in are region have increased 11% each of the past three years and interest rates have increased dramatically. When apartments are renting for $1,350 and houses for $1,775, it is very difficult for people to save the money needed for down payment and closing costs. These programs allow buyers to get into the market now, before prices and interest rates doom them to be renters for life.
