Yesterday was a very special day. I went to Boston to join others from the Rain who were there for a convention and training. When I was actively listing and selling this wasn't ever even on my agenda. I always felt for the money I would spend I would rather go abroad and experience something I would always remember and certainly enjoy more. It is ironic then that I would finally go when I had no direct connection to real estate.
Lisa Von Domek, from Dallas Texas, kept encouraging me, and yet there were numerous impediments to making the trip. I have an older sick dog I couldn't leave for long. I have a broken toe which hurts like hell, and a car that needs major service next week. The weather was lousy and it was a long trip. Nonetheless I hired a car and a driver. I am so thankful I went and so happy to have met so many wonderful folks I knew well, but had never met in person. Lisa was a wonderful hostess and made everyone feel prized and essential. Clearly she is like that professionally and people can read a true and whole person in any venue. I am really thankful I was encouraged by Lisa to come and it was that that made me take action.
There were people from around the country present at this meet-up and it was nice spending time with everyone and the spouses that came as well. Here are but a few of the pictures I took. Suffice to say most looked like their pictures and those that didn't were still fun to meet. Can you identify this cast?
