THE MOST important NUGGET i learned from the RE/MAX CONVENTION!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty LANDMARK

okay we all luv brian buffini... and we all luv our brokers who keep pushing us to the FSBOS and EXPIRED...

and in no way am i NOT going to keep my "ASSAULT" hahaha on those 2 valuable groups..

BUT at the convention our beloved top trainer B Buffini really emphasized the 85% our business comes from referrals... and how BAD we are all in doing the followups/popbys after closing...  Also do not forget all our business friends (insurance agents/bankers/mortgage/etc)... Ive gotten to the point with a couple of my key associates where i told them point blank:

I really do appreciate the level of care and service you provide  for all my referrals... HOWEVER im getting endless calls/emails from other bankers/insurance agents/lawyers/etc that are dying to refer me as well, and personallly we will always be good friends with a lot of respect for each other professionally... BUT, if you dont get me  #$(@#*@@(*  referrals i will chop ur head off!!!   hahahhaha j/k ...  something along the line of: hey i would love to repay the quality of service that you have done for my referrals back to you as well, and we are dying for that opportunity from one of your referrals...  thank you in advance for your trust..

Hey Eddie,

Sorry we didn't get to meet at the convention. We've used that line on a number of our affiliates and some have responded with increased referrals while others we no longer work with. At the beginning of each year we critique our business and marketing plan and sit down with each of our vendors and share the info. Included in that info is the question How many referrals can The Helderle Team expect from you this year. We then provide them with a list of every referral's name, address and escrow date that we gave them the preceding year. In most cases their jaws fall open. It has really worked for us over the last couple of years. Hopefully we can meet at next years convention.

Sorry I missed meeting you as well, and Frank, hated missing you too.

LOVED Buffini's talk, especially the part about releasing some people back into the marketplace, 'swim free'!  I feel pretty energized, just need some time to sit and organize my thoughts!

thanks leigh!!!

i believe all RE/MAX associates are really missing out if they dont attend the conference...  the funniest part is when a "speaker" commented on the "excitement" of the covey speaker hahahahhaha

i believe if you are not a good communicator it is almost impossible to get your mssge across...  I will def. see you all in las vegas and this year when i shake dave's hand for the award picture it will be for something higher!!!!

best wishes to you for a most successful 2007
