Even though The Beatles are not my #1 group ( Rolling Stones will forever be), The Beatles are a very close #2. It has been this way since '64 for both bands. Some day soon I'll write about using their original Neve Board at Abbey Road studios with one of the bands I used to manage. Got lots of stories for you. Had a great talk with George Martin, now he had some stories!!!!
Hey Kim,
Thanks for joining! I am looking forward to reading stories!
Best regards,
Jay
I love the Stones and the Beatles. I wouldn't even choose a #1 or #2. My dad saw the Stones on their first tour, and it's my (our) goal for him to see them on their last. No matter how damn much they charge for tickets! Since we're in CA they usually come here in November, rain or shine. And there we are in the audience, soaking wet if we're unlucky, happy to watch them do their thing.
Hi Chris, Only saw The Beatles once ( SF. 1964) but have seen the The Stones 27 times since their first small tour in 1964. The only tour I missed was in '69 as I was still in "Nam.
Before I forget, I really like that photo of you and your daughter........great smiles.
Thank you! We were on a ride a Disneyland, "the happiest place on earth". lol
Chris
