Most of us would protest that of course we love our children without any strings attached. But what counts is how things look from the perspective of the children!

I love the perspectives of children, they are so honest and genuine.  It looks like these kids are having fun at the aquarium!

Hello Paul - while the quote you share is definitely thought-provoking, it's the photo in this post that first caught my attention.  It captures a certain time (and spirit) that seems quite memorable.

We might love our kids unreservedly, Paul... but the reality is that parents through their love and concern put expectations on their kids that could indeed be considered as "strings attached" by their kids.

Hi Paul and happy Sunday- we need to be aware of our children's perspective. In fact, the same could apply in relationships with most anyone...figuring out how they see it.
