My first time stepping into Melody Muffler I was questioning whether my mechanic had sent there in earnest, or was just trying to get me out of his shop so he did not need deal with the muffler problem. Screws, bolts, in small boxes, unlabeled, in no apparent order. Scrap metal everywhere, leaning up against walls.
Yet after looking at my vehicle Mike walked directly inside, to a certain wall, pulled out a certain flange, from one of those unlabeled boxes, looked at it closely and set it on a semi cluttered work bench. Told me he would give me a call when done. True to his word in a couple of hours he called explaining the salt had rusted out the stock piece and it was no longer readily available but he was able to do the necessary welding to make the repair. The cost was jaw dropping low. For a decade now I do not hesitate in leaving my vehicle there for muffler repairs nor has anyone that I sent there ever complained.
