NEW GROUP FOR BUSY RE PROS WITH KIDS!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Greenville Central

Ok two blogs down about being a mom with an enormously hectic schedule. I've received so many comments from Moms AND Dads that I've decided to create a group where busy Real Estate Professionals can vent, share and have fun with other PARENTS.

Yes Real Estate is our career. But our real job is to be the light of the world to our children, to lead them, guide them and raise them to be good stewards, integrity driven and hopefully God filled kids.

Search the group called Real Estate for Busy Parents and come join us. Write a post..tell us your favorite poo poo or missing teddy story. Tell us your troubles with managing business with clients and your kids! You're so welcome..because we understand.

Great idea, I used to tote my daughter, now 7 along in her carseat before she was able to crawl.  My clients loved her and carried her into each property.  But once she was mobile - I had trouble making a phone call! Now they are on the bus for school and I feel like I have to get it all done and be home for them later. It's a challenge to balance it all.  Now as women we have it all - home guilt and work guilt!

There's a perception that we (real estate agents) can work from home and take care of our children.  Ever tried answering a call from a client with a 2 year old nearby?  If you haven't, it doesn't work, just causes great amounts of stress trying to please your clients and care for your child.

Oh Holly, how I know the challenges of being a single mom and now a single mom in the real estate business.

Although my girls are older, 13 and 15 years old, and they are to be more responsible, there is not a day that goes by  - except when they are at their Dad's house, when I get several phone calls and especially that one "Mom, when you be home, I am hungry"!

Yes, they can fix themselves stuff and can entertain themselves, but they still want their mom home to cater to them.  In addition to the two girls, I have three dogs.  There really is no time for a husband, so thank goodness at the moment, I do not have one!
