Hello! Sorry it's taken me a bit to get back to you personally. Yes, I am seeing a ton of Short Sales and REO's all of my biz is that today. I almost stop looking for the traditional sellers. It seems like 8 outta 10 are properties of this magnitude. As far as bidding....I have seen it all across the board. I've had up to 14 offers on one property and then fighting to get 1 offer for another one. The banks don't want these homes and are asking for a possibly 30 day pricing but they aren't giving "em away either. Going by fair market value with keeping in mind of an over supply and declining market.
