What do you REALLY want to Read??? Blog Suggestions?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Greenville Central

In the past few months I've blogged everything from listings to quirky stories to AR Help queries, to pooping in the potty.  It seems that the Featured articles are so random. So  I really want to know:

I"m sure the AR community is filled with so many REALTORS who have so many stories. We don't want the operations and logisitics, the guts, what we want is the heart of these stories..am I right?

I have so much in my brain and I'm a natural writer..If I wrote what is in my head they'd kick me off this site for sure. I'm a true Christian Conservative, mom, Realtor, wife, horsewoman, hiker, lover of mountains and SOOOO not into self promotion that the idea of this on this site just to get a referral makes me cringe. I want a referral to know ME..not the ME I see in pictures, on my team website, on farming sendouts, on email signatures...ME. I'm a good person..period.

So without pushing listings in your face or telling you how fabulous I am (which I am of course :)...

What does the AR community want to hear? Is it poopy diapers or poopy clients..I'm glad to comply either direction but I need some feeback!!

You have a choice...respond now or die

LOL...see how fun I am (oh yeah I hate self promotion) But I like to entertain does that count?

Holly - To find out what Active Rainers want to read, take a look at the Most Subscribed members.  You can find these on the home page.

To find out what kinds of Localism really work, go to groups like these:

Local Expert

Localism Success and Accountability Group

Take a look at the number of click throughs on each article - if nothing else, you'll get a feel for what types of titles catch the eye.  As you continue to read other blogs, you'll get a better feel for what is appealing - and what isn't.  Then, like BethAnn said, be yourself.

Holly, you hit the charts!  You've got a lot of humor and sensitivity.  You make me chuckle and that is worth alot to me!

Have a great weekend!

I agree, Holly.  I've read your blogs several times and find them enjoyable.  Just be yourself.  And by the way, I used to live in Travelers Rest (and later Greenville).  Got family and friends up there so many there might be a referral or two in the future!

Holly - I like to be myself - do not post anything negative (because that is not me) and try to gain relationships here on the Rain. Everyone has their own style and that is what makes this site awesome!

Holly,

I hope you get the responses you want. This is a great way to get ideas, but I would say like many of the previous comments, be yourself. Write about what interests you and just have fun.

What do we want to hear?

How about "people stories" it is one of the reasons people are in this business. Besides people do the craziest things.
