I, and many of the people of Florissant campaigned hard to keep Hooter's out of our City. We do not feel that with the Porno page they have on their web site that they portray a family business which Florissant is know for. I headed up the campaign and we had many local newspapers, Channel 2, 4, 5 and 30 TV stations that worked with us to get the new out that we were trying to stop them from building in Florissant. We fought a hard fight with our City Council and our Mayor Lowery. But the Council voted against us and we lost. I just pray that in his own time, the Lord will take care of this eyesore for our city.
