Passaic Valley Regional High School, located in Little Falls NJ and serving the communities of Little Falls, Totowa, and West Paterson - has come to an agreement with the Township of Little Falls to ensure the presence of a school security officer (SSO) for the upcoming school year. Both sides had been at odds recently over what the position's capacity and salary were going to be movng forward. The program which started in 2002 was originally funded through a federal grant. A lack of funding threatened the end of the position. We're happy to report that West Paterson Police Officer Joseph Miller will be filling the role for this school year as Passaic Valley's School Security Officer.
