New Jobs Being Created in The Upstate of South Carolina...

After consideration of multiple US Southeast locations, a supplier of medical monitoring equipment, Deltex Medical Group, is planning a 2 million dollar expansion of their Chichester, W. Sussex, England based company. The expansion involves a new Greenville South Carolina real estate location to be filled with an estimated 20 new jobs through the next two years! 

CEO of Deltex Medical Group, Andy Hill, remarked that Greenville's centralized location, quality of life and economic prospect played a decisive part in choosing the location.

The Deltex news comes to us following an announcement made in August about Innegrity LLC; a company that designs and manufactures high performance fibers for items like ballistic threat protective gear/armor.

Originally established in 2004 in Greenville County, SC; they plan on expanding the manufacturing division, currently located on Greer real estate  by moving to Mauldin, SC into a much larger facility and creating approximately 150 jobs in the process!

Don't forget about the 750 million dollar Greer BMW plant expansion! Estimates are as many as 500 new jobs, through this expansion alone, by 2012. Why? So BMW can increase their vehicle production by 50% to meet America's BMW wants and needs. The USA is their biggest market.  

Once the expansion is complete, the total BMW Greer employee count will be about 6,000 and Greer, South Carolina will hold the only two BMW assembly facilities in the US! 

The companies listed are just a few of the companies relocating to and/or expanding in The Upstate of South Carolina in the near future.
