Fairway Estates is a development known for its beauty and grandeur with amazing views of the Tetons, as well as the Gros Ventre and Snake River ranges.
In 1979, the Lodge Company purchased approximately 138 acres from John and Jess Wort and platted the property now known as Fairway Estates into 39 lots averaging 3.8 acres in size. Although the development was caught in the recession of the mid-1980s, the last developer lot sold for $100,000 in 1990. It's important to note that Fairway Estates is connected to the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis water system, but lot owners are responsible for their own septic tanks.
