SELLING YOUR BALTIMORE COUNTY HOME - PAINT IT BEFORE YOU LIST IT! - Tip of the Week

If you are considering selling your home in Baltimore County, Maryland, make sure that you step back and take a really good look at it and figure out what parts of it could benefit from a FRESH COAT OF PAINT!  Painting your home is one of the most inexpensive things you can do to significantly increase the value (or perceived value from potential buyers) TENFOLD!  Also, painting is something that most home sellers can do themselves, which saves them even more money.  However, BEFORE you decide to run out to the paint store and buy the paint you want, I would strongly suggest that you contact an experienced Baltimore County Real Estate Agent first.  Your experienced Baltimore County Real Estate Agent should be able to give you tips on what colors appeal to most of the buyers in today's market (HINT: THINK NEUTRAL & EARTHTONE COLORS) as well as some basic staging advice for the rest of your home.  Your agent should also be able to recommend an experienced Home Stager and/or Interior Decorator if you would prefer, depending on your budget of course.  Additionally, if you do not want to paint your own home or can't paint your own home, your Baltimore County Real Estate Agent should also be able to recommend you to one of their painters to get an estimate of what it will cost to have someone else do it.  Right now you may be asking yourself:

"WHAT IF MY AGENT DOESN'T KNOW ANY STAGERS, DECORATORS, OR PAINTERS?"

Then maybe it is time to call another agent, one who is EXPERIENCED, one who HAS A PROVEN TRACK RECORD in your area, and one who has a VAST NETWORK OF VENDORS for ALL of your real estate needs.  If you have any further questions, or would just like some professional advice from an experienced Baltimore County Real Estate Agent, feel free to CONTACT ME or VISIT MY WEBSITE!  If you are thinking of selling your Baltimore County home soon, you can also request a FREE HOME EVALUATION directly from MY WEBSITE!
