Have you noticed that it costs a lot to take your family to any type of professional sporting event? Well, the Dallas Mavericks have teamed up once again with McD's and put together a great package for families of 4. The package does not appear to have any options available for families of less than 4 or greater than 4. However, if you have extra tickets, bring a friend.

So, what is included in the package? 4 Maverick Tickets and 4 Extra Value Meal Coupons.

The package starts at $59.00 and is only at participating McD's restaurants. This works out to be $14.75 per person and includes the meal. If I am not mistaken, I believe there is a McD's inside American Airlines Center. Even if the starting price is for the top row, the view is still good enough to see all of the action.

Greg - Where do you think I was when they shot the TV guide cover... Mavs game. Actually, I have been a Mavs fan since before I moved from California. i like Mavs and Lakers. Not sure what happened to them in the play-offs. It was quite sad and VERY irritating.

Last December me and my husband were treated to Box seats at a Mavericks game in Dallas. It was my first basketball game ever! What did I do...watched it on one of the TV's in the box, and munched on the good food provided. I could do that every game! But I figured out, unless you are sitting right up front, main floor, the players sure do look short.

Hmmm, I guess if you have a family of 5 or more, you can use the tickets to bribe the kids into good behavior. Worst child has to stay home. AI bet you don't have to leave a 4-year old alone by himself more than twice before you see a drastic improvement in attitude.

We only did that once Erik and my son was already 6. Isn't that acceptable? I think 4 is too young, but at 6 they are about to put one or two words together.
