Short Sales are a way of the future now. How many of you find short sales to be very time consuming, frustrating and too much paperwork. Would you like to be out there looking for deals or at your desk negotiating with banks? Just would like your thoughts on this.
We do short sales and I have my share of experience, honestly I could do without all the frustration that goes with it, but it is the name of the game right now.
Aileen,
I am intrigued with the possibility of perfecting the art of short sales, but dumbfounded as to how to accomplish the art.
In my experience, they are extremely time consuming and frustrating. The paperwork alone breaks my heart in the sheer number of trees that are sacrificed. Ideally, streamlining the process must be the answer.
Am I naive enough to believe that now with government intervention (bailout, rescue plan???) that might happen? Maybe...but its probably just this girl's pipe dream.
I will be interested to read what other comments are. Thanks for starting the conversation!
I think short sales take forever onky 1 out of 5 go through because the investors don't want to sell them at at a loss. Maybe they are waiting for a bailout?
Hi Aileen--
I have a video on my YouTube channel called "Short Sale or Foreclosure: Will You Make Money?" I think it could be helpful to people interested in learning more about short sales. I have more videos on this topic on my YouTube channel, ExpertRealEstateTips. Enjoy!
