Philadelphia Phillies...2008 World Series Champions...!!!

What an exciting last game of the World Series...game 5...Phillies win 4-3...and become the 2008 Major League Baseball World Champions...Cole Hamels wins Most Valuable Player Award as star pitcher...!  

I'm not going to make a big deal about this victory...The glory was in the getting there and finishing the goal...If anyone wants details, pickup any newspaper sports page tomorrow!!!

As for me...  

Philadephia Phillies...2008 World Series Champions...says it all...!!!

We went to 'The Dance'...now we're going to the parade!!!

CONGRATS!  I think the ratings were terrible for the world series, but I am sure a lot of people in the hometowns were watching!

My Angels were beaten by the Red Sox, who were beaten by the Rays, who were beaten by your Phillies.  But we still should have, could have, would have beat ya congratulate you in 2008!

It is great to be living in the Philly area after last night's Phantastic Phillies Win!  We have waited to long for this. And just think the Rays were the team picked to win the world series by the media.

I'm old... I remember seeing games at Connie Mack... lovely stadium with poles in the way of your view at certain places! Maybe next year the Pirates will actually have a team again!!! Wish they were in the same division as Philly... I miss those days.
