Spokane Split between Democrat and Republicans

Spokane News,

Spokane Washington Real Estate Expert Once again Spokane is split between Democrat and Republican votes with a slight trend towards Democrats. The fact is Spokane voters are split on the presidential sid but have leaned towards Republican. This year they seem to have barely slanted democratic.

In the race for the govenor it seems that Dino Rossi's lead by 15,000 votes in Spokane last year has declined to only about 3,000 so far from what has been counted. Like all of America a win may be a win but in any close race the fact is that the nation and the state of Washington is roughly evenly split Democratic and Republican.

The good new is that more people are voting an in closer races the net effect is more awareness which will lead to more fair voting and representation. I also think that this means in closer races that the voters will expect more from the elected officials that got their votes.

"Change is only good when it is an improvement!"

To My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011 but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
