Lake Manassas in Autumn (Aerial Shots)

Lake Manassas is one of the most beautiful sights in Prince William County.  It is especially pleasing to see from the air.  I was lucky enough to fly over Lake Manassas about two weeks ago and snapped quite a few photos for all to enjoy.

Lake Manassas is a lovely sight, and a great place live. I like the fact that they built homes but left some trees. Subdivisions are so much more beautiful with trees.

Audrey:  I am quite a fearful flyer myself.  Having something to do (like taking pictures) helps.  You should take your camera and force yourself up there.

Russell:  I hate autumns like that...when the leaves go from green to dead in a heartbeat.  Very depressing.

Russel:  You have made that comment before.  Maybe you and Jim need to move out to Vriginia.  I showed homes last summer to a gentlemen who was relocating from Houston.  He said the trees made him feel claustrophobic.  He was so used to being able to see out into the horizon.

Trey:  It is lovely!  And the homes are spectacular...especially the $1,000,000+ homes.  It is just as lovely from the ground.  There is a restaurant on the Stonewall Golf Course side called the Brass Cannon that overlooks the lake.  A great place to take out of town visitors.

Tami:  It is particularly beautiful with the variety of bright colored trees.  I like the contract of the trees to the very green golf course.

AWESOME PICS!  It's pretty neat that you got the opportunity to go up in the sky like that!  You could start your own aerial photo company with shots like that for the upper end properties!

Michael:  Our local airport is in the flight path for Dulles Airport.  Getting Air Traffic Control to go along with a scheduled looky-loo flight would be unheard of.  This is a happy coincidence that we were routed over Lake Manassas.
