After much hoopla and delay the Postal Way connection opened last week...
The opening was scheduled for the end of August 2008 -- Unforeseen water pipes and inclement weather pushed the project months behind. However, now that it is complete, the roadway is alleviating some of the traffic off the Carolina Forest interchange near the Kroger's and Piggly Wiggly shopping centers.
The community's off of Gardner Lacy Road will benefit from Postal Way - they will be able to access all the offerings of Carolina Forest shopping areas without ever touching HWY 501.
All the community's off of Carolina Forest Blvd that have kids that go to CF High School will be able to get their children there with out ever setting a wheel on HWY 501.
