About two years ago, I created and copyrighted the Friendly Mortgage Realtor Pledge. It is signed by everyone that touches that particular deal and gets faxed over along with our pre-approval letter to both agents. Nice doc. Do you find that Realtors recipricate by being respectful to you? I know we can be a pain if we don't keep ourselves under control.
Thanks for the comments. It's very hard not to stick to it, once you put it out there. That's why we have everyone sign it. Does every loan go perfectly? No, but our realtors know that we, if there's a way to close the loan, we will do everything humanly possible to make it happen. Our success rate is pretty darn good, but can always improve.
Our Realtors are great to us. They know that we genuinely care and always communicate with them throughout the loan process. I've found that the biggest thing that Realtors want is to be told the truth and to keep them in the loop throughout the process, not just when everything is perfect. Let's face it, there are times when things go wrong, but open communication is key.
I think that's fantastic. It's always good to put your intentions in writing so everyone's on the same page. Kudos to you!
