If you are scheduled for a move to Fort Bragg and you need info about great communities near the base with good schools, consider looking in Southern Pines and the other towns in Moore County NC. Moore County towns are a very short commute to Fort Bragg, and more importantly, they are safe and have very good schools. Moore County schools rank 6th in the North Carolina out of 100 Counties when it comes to average SAT scores. The elementary schools and middle schools in the County are the places where kids get the foundation to score so highly. There are a lot of other great things about Southern Pines that make the quality of life very high. It is an easy place for newcomers to make a lot of new friends very quickly.
