In today's market it so important to UPDATE your home to appeal to a larger number of potential buyers. Some elbow grease, a small investment and a professional home stager can dramatically transform your home. One of the FIRST recommendations I made for this room was that ALL mirrors and paneling should be removed. WHY? Let's take a look!

By updating this space, the home now will appeal to a younger buyer. The warm colors and style of furnishings add a contemporary style to this small ranch home. PERFECT FOR A YOUNG FAMILY. The room also appears larger.

Prior to staging, this home sat on the market since April with NO OFFERS. Now, newly painted and staged it is ready to greet the NEW YEAR and will welcome home that special buyer.

As we approach 2009, the Team of ReStyled to Sell would like to wish all a very Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year. Phyllis, great work! If your customers ever doubt the value of staging, tell them to call me. Having built and sold hundreds of homes, I know it's well worth the small cost. Whether in a furnished or unfurnished home, staging will sell homes faster and for more money. Fewer days on the market means fewer mortgage or interest payments. In today's market it's both foolish and costly not to stage.

Exactly John, it's always a good thing to hear from builders in regards to how Professional Staging helps them reach their sales goals. This coming year will be make or break for many builders, large and small. If we work together makreting a property, it is one step closer to less DOM saving money as you outlined above. Your talent is evident as always Phyllis. Great work creating a lifestyle that young families will buy into.

Phyllis ~ It looks fantastic!  I'm sure the homeowner did not want to have to deal with removing the paneling or the mirror, but I'll bet their glad they did after seeing the end result.

Can you share the wall color, Phyllis?  The transformation is beautiful.

Hey Kathy..the wall color is Jackson Tan and it is by Benjamin Moore. That is just the beginning of the transformation. We painted over the dark, dated kitchen cabinets. Sellers installed a new stove and dishwasher, the basement and garage floor were painted and the bedroom and office were staged. Also some very overgrown bushes were removed which exposed the front of the house. I am sure that this home will sell quickly!

Thanks everyone for the kind words

Phyllis, WOW! What a difference! I am glad to see the new CORT furniture in action. It looks quite nice and the small scale sofa was a great choice!

This is an incredible transformation! I've never been a fan of paneling and this is another great example of how dated it can make a home look!
