Winter has finally arrived on Maui. In Haiku it has been raining buckets, and the plants are loving it. I had some down time today and went out in the rain and was just enjoying working in the garden. I could feel everything growing. Driving to Wailea office, it has been over cast, and raining today. A sign of winter is the sugar cane flowering, which it does this time of year. All the fields are top off flowering in the cane fields.
Paia Town on the north shore has been busy. With wintry rainy days, people are looking for something to do. They have been flocking to Paia Town. Some of my favorite restaurants like Paia Fishmarket, Cafe Des Ames, and Flatbread has just been packed. People like flatbread with the organic Kahlua pig pizza, my favorite. They also have great draft beer if you like beer.
The last few days have been cold. I have been getting up early and surfing Hookipa before work. The water has been cool and most surfers have been putting on light wetsuits. Today was just to windy and rainy. So even with the weather, everyone has been making the most on Maui. So if you are looking for Maui real estate on Maui's North shore. Go to Northshore Maui
