Nottingham Country residents know that the community is one of the most prestigious in Katy. Residents appreciate great schools, fantastic amenities and a great location. Residents also know that gorgeous mature trees, a beautiful bayou and grand estate homes highlight the neighborhood. Still there is a secret that Nottingham Country residents may not know.
In 2008 Houston faced the worst hurricane in years. Mortgage companies folded right and left. The stock market plunged. Almost any investment in 2008 was a bad investment.
However, owning a home in Nottingham Country was a good investment. Average home prices increased slightly to over $220,000 (a substantial increase). The average home in Nottingham Country sold in just 67 days, well below the Houston area average.
