Post card mailing interface with MLS

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty World Wichita

I buried this in another post, but it bears it's own posting.  I believe strongly in technology that makes our lives easier, and interfaces to keep our data entry low.  http://www.mlsmailings.com/ is one of these.  Sign up for the service (free), they interface with your MLS.  When you have an active listing, they detect it, and wait up to 10 days for a photograph to be posted.  They take that address, and pull from their database the 100 nearest home owners, print a "just listed" card with your picture, and home picture.  Then they mail it to the residents.  100 cards, printed and mail for $48.00.  When your listing changes to sold, they mail "just sold" cards to the same 100 people for $40.00.  The $8 difference?  They charge $0.08 per name for the addresses.  BUT - they put the addresses with homeowner names in your file.  They belong to you, and you can use other services they have, or you can download the list for your own database.  They'll even let you custom design cards if you want.

Nice cards too, glossy UV coating on both sides, and full color.  Our MLS wasn't one they serviced, took about a month to get the feed working, and they never charged a dime until the first mailing goes out.  You can also control which listings you want mailed, or you can blanket everything you have.

Isn't RETS a great thing?????

That is a great idea and no work on our part.  This is something so simple that agents do not take the time to do.  Property owenrs pay attention and see you are doing all this marketing and possibly will call you in the future to list.

Great job. Thanks for sharing
