Lady, your picture is upside down

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker

Yes it is.  That's because I like to look at things from a different point of view.

It's also is a great way to hide my double chin and erase the wrinkles.  And it's cheaper than botox and liposuction.  If I could be upside down all the time with out the dizziness and nose bleeds I'd so do that.

I "rented ears" for several years as radio sales executive and thought I'd try selling something the client can actually see and touch.  I am a rookie to the realtor biz but I am so excited to be starting this adventure.

Probably the hardest thing for me right now, besides all the paperwork and contracts, is  NOT going for the joke.  I perform with an improv comedy group for over 15 years so being serious is never my first instinct, but I hope that my sense of humor and ability to think outside the box will be an asset.  Or at least keep me sane.  Oooopps... too late!

Vicki - very funny and definately outside the box. You will do fine. I love people with a sense of humor. It is not natural for me, therefore, I appreciate it more! Best!

Hi Vicki:  Welcome to real estate and Active Rain.  It is great that you hooked up here so quickly there is a wealth of information to be learned here.

I am originally from Wichita Kansas but moved away back in 1979.  My husband's family is still there so we go back a couple of times a year.  My nieces are up in your neck of the woods.  Well not totally but up that direction one is in Lawrence and one is in Shawnee.  I have a cousin that lives in Topeka.  I actually have cousins all over Kansas, my Dad had a fairly large family.

Vicki,

I was a DJ for 18 years and there is no reason to give up the sense of humor. It actually helps lighten the uptight offices that you will run into. Remember to smile it makes the other guy wonder what you are up to -

never give up the humor, it makes great salespeople.  People like to laugh therefore want to work with people that make them laugh.  It is a no-brainer.  You still have to perform, but it is a good start!

Vicki Trembly is the best! If anyone needs a good realtor and personable friend-Vicki is the one to go to. I fell in love with all of the beautiful Victorian houses in Topeka, and decided to make the move from Portland Oregon to Topeka Kansas. Needless to say, this was a scary venture for a single woman born and raised in the West Coast. I don't know a sole in Topeka, but Vicki made me feel as if I was right at home right away, and showed me all around Topeka. We made an offer on a beautiful home, and closed a week later (literally). Everything went smoothly. Vicki is also good about updating her clients right away-we talked several times a day. Vicki is still helping me get situated and all about helping, with repair guidance and anything else I can drum up to keep this lady busy! I can't say enough good things about her. I told Vicki what kind of house I was looking for, and she just knew what I wanted intuitively. I did'nt receive any emails of homes I was'nt interested in-she was just able to hone in on the homes I was interested in. I give this young lady the gold star banner of achievement. Kudos to You!

Thank you so much for the kind words Susan.

Technically it was one week and 20 hours from contract to close.  ;o).  I admire your courage and abilty to make a quick decision.  I wish all my buyers would be like you!!

It was a fun day and we saw some amazing things.  I can't wait to see how that vintage pink stove looks in your kitchen.
