This week may prove to be a truly historic one in our industry.
As we write to you, the Fix Housing First Act of the Senate's Economic Stimulus Bill is currently being debated. This Act includes a $15,000 tax credit for homebuyers that has already verbally been passed. Also on the table is a provision to lower 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rates down to 4-4.5 percent for eligible homebuyers.
