The Movie "Taken"......What Did You Think??

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Advantage

One of my sons came home this weekend from college so we went to the movie this afternoon and saw "Taken". That was the second movie I saw this weekend. That is very unusual! It was very good with lots of action. Liam Neeson is a one man show. It will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Taken stars Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills a former government agent who recently gave up his career to be closer to his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). When Kim and her friend go on a trip to Paris, they are abducted by an organization that specializes in human trafficking. Bryan is told he has 96 hours to find his daughter before she may be lost forever. Bryan goes to Paris and uses his "set of special skills" to help track down the bad guys and his daughter.

I just watched it yesterday.  The scary fact is that it actually does happen - we think we have it rough when a deal goes bad.  BBBBBIIIIIGGGG Reality check!

I wanted to see this one but haven't gotten to the movies much lately.  I will have to put it on my list!  I want to get in the habit of seeing a movie weekly.  Thanks for sharing.

Bridget...we talked about that too. I think that does happen. You know they think that is what happend to the girl that got kidnapped in Aruba. I can see where it could definitely happen. Scarry!

Well aren't you becoming quite the little movie critic!  I am so glad you talked about this one, I had seen previews and wanted to see it, but then forgot about it.  Thanks for the reminder.

This is one movie I actually would go to the movies to see!  The commercial alone grips me.  I'm glad to hear you thought it was very good.

Hi Debbie - I saw the movie "Taken" and enjoyed it.  It has a disturbing theme the pits "exercising wants" as opposed to listening to "common sense" advice from a parent who is aware.  The movie has a ton of action and it keeps you involved in the plot throughout the movie.  It's a good one and I would recommend it to others.

I just saw this recently and thought it was a great movie.  One of the best I have seen in a while.   Alittle scary though as everyone else says because things like this do go on.  Liam Neeson was great in this movie.  Worth watching!

I've been wanting to see this movie too. And I've heard good things about it. But as a full time Realtor, a wife and a mother of two boys, going to the movies to see anything other than Spiderman, Transformers, or Alvin and the Chipmunks,  is a rare occasion. I'll probably just have to wait until it comes out on DVD or HBO so I can Tivo it.

It was just OK. Interesting story and I like Liam Neeson but it was a formula movie with nothing new.
