So tell me, is anyone out there still thinking they can make huge profits flipping homes? Even the so called reality shows on the subject are mysteriously gone. So how are things in your market. I have to be honest...flipping has never been viable in my market. The reason it didn't is the same reason that we have fared well through this whole real estate debacle. The values in our market have historically been very slow and steady. There have been no huge upswings in price so there was no "bubble" to burst. The factor that has had the most negative effect on our market is the national media. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. The Killeen real estate market is different than anyplace else. All that being said, I'll say again, our market has never been such that would support house flipping. How do you think the romanticization of flipping effected the housing market where you do business. I would be interested to hear your input.

Richard you can buy a house and fix it up. But another thing is trying to find a ready, willing and able buyer who is willing to buy it. And thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Great post.
