Thank you all for responding to my blog on "Green building". It is nice to know this style of energy efficient home building is causing a buzz in other markets as well. Energy efficiency makes sense in so many ways. In addition to cost savings over time. I would also be interested to know how many of you have seen a rise in recycled material used in place of traditional building materials. Recycled paper as countertops? Recycled denim showing up as insulation?
The possibilities are endless...I know the costs for these alternatives may cause out of reach home prices. The energy savings over time will help defray the initial costs. Any websites featuring recycled contruction materials? Thank you again for any help.
