Dallas Blooms @ the Dallas Arboretum– 25th Anniversary

By
Industry Observer

I have posted in the past how the Dallas Arboretum is one of my favorite attractions in Dallas.  Even with my seasonal allergies, I am always excited when it’s time for Dallas Blooms (and thanks to the fine folks who make Claritin, I can enjoy my day among the flowers).  This year’s festival, sponsored by Chase, runs from March 7 through April 12, 2009.

Dallas Blooms is an annual springtime event and is the Southwest’s largest floral festival.  This year’s 25th anniversary event features over 450,000 spring bulbs, 3,000 azaleas and a topiary in the shape of a birthday cake!  There are daily events and special weekend and Easter events that will coincide at the Dallas Arboretum so be sure to check their website for more details.  Dallas Blooms is always overwhelmingly beautiful, so be sure not to miss it.  I will be sure post some pictures once I get them.

The Dallas Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road in Dallas.

Can you believe that I lived in Dallas for 24 1/2 years and have NEVER been to the Arboretum?!

Steve,

Thanks for the reminder.  The Arboretum is a treasure.  We were there last Sunday and the tulips were everywhere.  Also the Thursday concert series begins soon.

Steve:  Dallas Blooms is always such an awesome event.  We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful attraction so close by.  Thanks for sharing... and... I can't wait for those pictures.
