The Lakes At University Club Plantation Home Price Correction report by Baton Rouge's Home  Appraiser, Bill Cobb 
This primary home price chart below supports my conclusion that home prices have been correcting for the past 3 years. Also, despite the 11 sales in 2013, some homes listed have some resistance to potential buyers.  Generally, homes in this section re sell either break even or a little  higher than original purchase price but at least one sale was at a $41,000 loss after 924 days on the market (and I appraised this waterfront home and know it was very nice), see comments below.

Answer: Generally March through August 
Based on the 2 charts below provided by GBRAR, the hottest and traditional months for the most home sales in a given year take place between March and August.  As a comparison, January 2013 had 449 sales versus August 2013 with 870, a 94% difference in the number of home sales based on Winter versus Summer seasons.
