music: Concert Season...It's Back!!! - 07/10/21 09:24 AM
The residents of Georgetown, MA are excited.
WHY, you ask?
Every year the Georgetown Cultural Council hosts a Summer Concert Series. It consists of 6 Sundays and features various music styles.
The Summer Concert Series was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
The series is held at the American Legion Park stage area. There's usually a food truck that shows up and Jeff & Maria's Ice Cream brings their shop to the vendor window.
July 11th is the kickoff concert 5pm - 7pm. Bring your chairs and good humor.
Here's the schedule

The summer theater season is about to begin! Pam & I have been season ticket holders at the North Shore Music Theater (NSMT) in Beverly, MA for years. NSMT is a small and intimate theater in the round. There are no bad seats.
The theater season begins with my favorite musical "Music Man", followed by "Beauty & the Beast", then "Young Frankenstein", "Evita" & "42nd Street".
The sixth show is a recurring favorite in December, Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" starring David Coffee as Scrooge. David is a local actor who has played the Scrooge role for over 25 years.
This is one venue, Pam … (6 comments)
