From Pam & I, we want to wish each of you and your families the happiest and most fulfilling day. We all have so much to be thankful for, Every new day is a gift as is every breath we take. 
The turkey is stuffed and in the oven. We found the bugger trying to hide as a lamp. This is my favorite Thanksgiving humor picture.
I asked Pam what I could do to help. She replied, "Get out of the kitchen!" LOL... It seems I get in the way and interrupt her thought processes. Isn't that what husbands are for? [grin]

thanksgiving: Holiday Package Safety - 11/18/23 07:50 AM
Well, here we are at the beginning of the Holiday Season. Thanksgiving is this coming Thursday 23 November. Then 1 month later it's Christmas. 
 
Recently we've seen uncontrolled theft of retail stores by roving bands of marauders. NOW, that has begun to move to delivery vehicles. Just this week our local Police Dept issued guidance to help prevent package theft.

For me, it seems the back half of this year has whizzed right past. Maybe it's because the retail stores started going full Christmas display in early October.
There are no delays or cancelations on the Time Airlines
So, here we are, it's 1 November and only 3 weeks until Thanksgiving Day and roughly 7 weeks until Christmas. Soon we will be in 2024. On this day we are called to unite as one family and offer our praises and thanksgiving to our Creator and Sustainer for the many blessings He has bestowed upon us. Monday Mornings begin at 6:00 a.m. with Monday Morning Men's Prayer. It's a small band of men that believe we should start the work week in prayer. There are prayers for everything and lasts till about 8:00 a.m

I promised myself I wouldn't do it...BUT...I still did it...Lol Stuffing is my downfall. I don't know what Pam does but it sure is good.
Thanksgiving at our home was a day of blessings. Family gathered together, prayed, conversed, listened to music, ate, watched football. There was no discussion of politics or social issues, other than that which we prayed about AND then it Happened...I become the turkey that was stuffed...hahahaha

Good Morning, The day has arrived. The house has all these great aromas from desserts baking and a turkey being cooked. The house is warm AND It's Cold Outside!! I don't know if it's the coldest Thanksgiving on record or not. If it isn't it's surely missing one heck of an opportunity...lol

Pam & I were blessed with 3 strong strapping sons. When they were little the pediatrician was amazed at how often we were in his office because of sickness or an injury.
