Spring is known for Spring Market home selling in real estate.  
You may not have considered the time of the year as an issue of when you sell, but you should have.  More buyers are out in the spring than any other time of the year.  The next question is why?  The answer is simple.  In northern climates the highest percentage of buyers have children, so school is a major consideration.  Buyers want to be settled before school starts in the fall.
This is a major reason for the spring market in every area of the county.

Musical Realtors may be a new term and it doesn't have to do with a Rock Band!
Your have to make a decision when you prepare your home for sale.  Will you use a full service real estate company and agent or will you try on your own.  After making that decision the anticipation of selling sends your mind into the "what if" scenario.

Sellers have been playing Musical Realtors!  Meaning sellers are skipping from one real estate agent to another hoping to sell.

Many articles have already been written on the drop in the national housing market sales of a whopping 27%.  What's behind the numbers?

Most of the time it is because they are not given the whole picture of their choices.  They don't take the time to investigate because they are stressed, beat down and just ready to fold.  When dealing with your largest personal asset take a breath before making that final decision that could change your economic life for years.

Seller anxiety does not end with the purchase agreement.
Sellers have just as many issues to resolve as buyers after the purchase agreement.
Sellers want to make sure the sale is actually going to happen!  The anxiety level is high when attempting to sell.  Making sure the home is always ready to show prosective buyers.  Wondering how many people are going to see the home and more importantly what will be their offers.

I had the chance of a lifetime this past week. I received two offers on one of my listings..I presented the offers, both had strong points and one had some trap doors. I explained in detail both offers to the seller.
Michigan still has its 15% unemployment as the nation's leader, as a result the sales numbers in the mid to upper range of $250,000 to $400,000 have shown a strong decline.
