The number of foreclosures in the Phoenix metro market has fallen back to pre-housing bust levels. We have also seen are large decline in short sale listings, so it appears the market is back to a normal market. In February, only 303 valley homes were foreclosed upon. January had only 337 homes. Once the housing market crashed, foreclosures started rising and reached a high in 2009, of over 5,000 per month.
