A Michiana Army Sergeant and his wife were just trying to give what little they had to their children during the holidays, then along came a Christmas miracle. To pull off any good surprise, you have to lie ... just a little Homes for Heroes has been working with Army Sergeant Edward Marshall and his wife Jessica. Jim McKinnies told them to come by Tuesday to sign some papers as the couple works toward purchasing their first home. McKinnies had something else up his sleeve. On October 17th, Shane and Cindy Bolinger of Lake Havasu City purchased their new home and donated $990 to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lake Havasu City. They utilized “Homes for Heroes,” which helps Heroes such as Veterans, Active Military, Educators, Medical Professionals, Law Enforcement, and Firefighters save money when they purchase or sell Real Estate.
