The Waikīkī Aquarium and the Honolulu Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts invite you to experience Seasons and the Sea on May 2nd. 
 
Visitors will learn about Hawaiian cultural traditions during this unique sunset observance set to take place at 5:30 p.m. on the grounds just Ewa of the Aquarium.

The Waikīkī Aquarium, in support of the Hawaiʻi Food Bank, will be collecting canned food donations starting, Dec. 1st. through until the 8th, 2018. 
 
Please drop off your donation of canned goods at the reception desk during the aquariums hours of operation, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m..

Waikīkī Aquarium on Tuesday, June 13 will host a talk by Dolan Eversole, a Coastal Processes Specialist with University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant.
 
Waikīkī Beach is a globally recognized icon of Hawai‘i and the state’s largest tourist destination. Waikīkī generates approximately 42 percent of the state’s visitor industry revenue and is responsible for 8 percent ($5 billion) of the Gross State Product. This talk will introduce joint state, university and private partnerships' intent on improving the management and resilience of Waikīkī Beach.

ocean clean & healthy!
 
Support the cause at Baby Makapu‘u on Thursday, June 8th from 8 a.m.–11 a.m. and help remove trash and other debris from the surrounding beach and park areas.
 
Check-in will start at 7:45 a.m. at Baby Makapu'u (across Sea Life Park makai parking lot). 
Trash bags, gloves and other supplies will be provided. Please bring water & sun protection. 
Free snacks and refreshments complements of Duke's Waikīkī!

Ask all of your monk seal questions every first and third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. Aquarium biologists will introduce you to the resident seals, Makaonaona and Hoailona. Lu‘au are the Hawaiian tradition of feasting and in it's modern incarnation it typically involves lots of Hawaiian food, colorful cocktails with little parasols, and fine Polynesian entertainment. Help support the Waikiki Aquarium with an ocean side feast hosted by Diamond Head Luau.
