When we first opened Joy Daniels Real Estate Group 8 years ago, we invested a lot of time and attention into our branding and marketing. This included photos of myself and the team. I have relied on those initial photos for years until early 2018, we decided to refresh our signage which meant new photos.

When you have been in business for as long as I have (30 years!) you tend to have a lot people (family, friends, former clients) asking you to help them find a real estate agent in the area where they have planned to move or where they have friends or family living that need to sell a home so they can make a move. Real estate is a non-stop business- We can all relate to the early morning phone calls, the mid-day appointments, and the late night emails. Buying and selling real estate has no set hours.
But after 30 years of being in this business, I can say that I have learned a little bit on how to find balance in my life anywhere I can. One way that I accomplish this, is by dedicating some time each week just for me. I could not be more "in my element" than relaxing in my sunroom with my cats. When we began our own company, we put a lot of thought into our "brand". We spent endless hours writing our mission statement, supporting our staff, and creating an image that would be recognizable as "Joy Daniels Real Estate Group". We hoped that our brand would convey a sense of competance and trustwortiness. But even beyond that, we wanted our company to be friendly and welcoming. It is important to me that our company be equal parts knowledgeable and kind. Good Habit: It is always nice to reflect on both the good and bad aspects of your life. Work habits (good and bad) especially can sometimes go unnoticed unless you spend some intentional and thoughtful time being introspective.
I am glad to begin by sharing the GOOD habits: I exercise incredible focus when I am working.
