Maui Kamaole is a very popular vacation destination on Maui, with condo units housed in 13 different buildings spread out over 23 acres in South Kihei, right across from the Kihei Boat Ramp. The 114 apartments come with either 1 or 2 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms.
Floor plans vary between 849 square feet up to 1,313 square feet, but most of the 1BD/2BA units are 849 sf with maintenance fees around $577/month. At this time of year people flock to the sunny shores of Kihei Maui to stay in vacation condos by the beaches. One of the more popular spots is the Kamaole Sands development which consists of 10 buildings on 15 acres, just across the street from the ocean and a beach park. The 4-story buildings hold a total of 440 apartments, which can be rented out short term. Units come in a variety of floor plans, with 1 and 2 bedroom single level models, and 2 and 3 bedroom models with lofts.

A big MAHALO goes out to Old Republic Title and Escrow for hosting and organizing a sunset brokers open at the Honua Kai Resort in Kaanapali Maui last Friday. Some of us got to ride the bus over from the Shops at Wailea and back, making for a fun filled trip. Akina Aloha Tours provided the comfortable wheels.

The Mana Kai beachfront resort in South Maui is going a little greener these days, by upgrading the lawn to a more drought tolerant grass which will require less watering. Isn't that a great idea? You can see the landscaping job underway next to the pool. That's Keawakapu Beach in the background, right next to the resort.
Currently at the Mana Kai there are 2 active listings... $949,000 and $999,000. Both units have wonderful ocean views overlooking beautiful Keawakapu Beach. Maintenance fees are $986/month.

I have posted about the Grand Champions vacation condos previously on ActiveRain, but these photos really give a good picture of the buildings. These were taken from the new development of Kai Malu Wailea, (some residential condo homes).
Grand Champions are entry level Wailea vacation condos. Prices are good right now, with some units in the $400,000's - unheard of a few years ago. 20 buildings with a total of 188 apartments are situated on 12.25 acres.
