Are you shredding your to-do lists? I am a big fan of making to do lists to make sure I take care of everything I need to do. Some days are more successful than others. I’ve been happily crossing off all kinds of items this week – showing new buyers homes, counter offer negotiations, lease signed, new tenant move in’s, old tenant move-outs, new property management agreements, a new sale listing, two new lease listings and more. Once done with a list, I usually crush them in a ball and shoot for the trashcan.

I am always surprised to hear about the other Atlanta real estate agents wanting their inspectors to not find any problems with a home they are inspecting. Jay Markanich, an inspector in Bristol, VA wrote a great post Hello, Goodbye that spurred this post for me. Atlanta does see snow flurries almost every year and it’s not uncommon for us to get one snowfall of an inch or so. However, invariably, since it is so rare for our temperatures to be lower than 32 degrees and have rain at the same time, we don’t get much snow. This is something we in Atlanta don’t see everyday, the news media locally and nationally talking about the south getting “hammered with snow” two to three days in advance. There’s talk of at least five inches of snow, school closings and airport closings all forty eight hours in advance. Atlanta Hartsfield – aka the world’s busiest airport doesn’t close very easily.
